To all the ladies…

I recently took a few days off to spend some quality time with some of the strong women in my life: my mom, my great aunt, my aunt, and my sister. We spent our time laughing, talking, crying, reminiscing, eating, and shopping. We even watched Chief of War on AppleTV+!

Throughout this time together, I felt so grateful for the strong women who have surrounded me my entire life. This quote came to mind:

“The world needs strong women. Women who will lift and build others, who will love and be loved. Women who live bravely, both tender and fierce. Women of indomitable will.” — Amy Tenney

Some of the most important lessons I’ve learned from the women in my life are:

  • 🦁 Be courageous. It takes courage to be unabashedly yourself.
  • 🪴 Grow. People will try to throw dirt on your name, but you can use it to grow.
  • 💪 Stay strong. Strength isn’t always loud; often it’s quiet.
  • 🔋 Power up. Your uniqueness is your superpower.
  • Draw your boundaries. Setting boundaries can be difficult, but it’s essential.
  • 💡 Embrace graceful aging. It has nothing to do with physicality—it’s all about mindset.

As the quote says, “Here’s to powerful women everywhere. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.”

Cheers to the ladies. 🥂
